There is a short list of Blacks who have participated in the NASCAR Racing sport. There is an even shorter list of Blacks who have won in the sport. For former NBA player Brad Daugherty, making the transition from NBA All-Star to the owner of a NASCAR team wasn’t an easy feat. Speaking with Marc J. Spears of Andscape.com, he talked about what it was like breaking into the sport as an owner 20 years ago.
