Yvonne’s Spiritual Healing: “A Wounded Child”

Raised by your grandmother, feeling rejected by your birth parents; wounded all over again, not knowing the name of your birth father.

Longing to re-unite with your mother who re-married; Longing to get to know your step-brothers and sisters. Longing to fit in and become a part of the family. But that never happened.

So you struggle with those feelings of loneliness and rejection.

Why are you still alive?  How did you survive?

All those trials and tribulations you’ve suffered without the true love of a father or mother. Raised by a loving grandmother who did the best she could.

There’s always something to be thankful for, at least you were not raised in an orphanage.

A wounded child full of anger and rage; rejected by your step brothers and sisters; never to be cradled in the arms of a loving mother
A wounded child; never taught how to love. Growing up needy, always wanting that which your grandmother couldn’t afford.

All grown up living a life of solitude; never letting others get too close; never to suffer from another broken heart. Why me, why not me, there were others who lived a life of poverty. But you’ve always been curious, how you succeed without a college degree?

So many old friends no longer walking this earth; you too could have walked down that dark road of destruction. But for the grace of God, you were saved, you’re still amazed.
