The Ohio-born; Georgia-raised artist got her start in 2016 by winning first prize on The Rap Game show. In 2020, she released her debut album Queen of da Souf which spawned the platinum-certified single “Muwop” (featuring Gucci Mane).
Since then, she has been consistent with her music and increasing the spotlight on her fame. I can’t say I’m a fan of her music, but I cannot deny her star power, therefore when she hit the stage during the 2024 One Music Festival, I had to check it out.
One of my criticisms towards her and some other female rappers is that they display more sex appeal than skills to promote their music. With that said her performance at OMF was what I expected. The 25-year-old performed in a waist-level fur coat and leather booty shorts.
