Since then, Nelly has dropped a slew of hits and has become a Bonafide superstar. By the same token, since his arrival, St. Louis has produced more successful hip-hop artists. Many of those artists have been directly linked to Nelly or loosely associated with him.
Recently Nelly reminded people of his influence by bringing those artists on stage at the One Music Fest. In addition to performing his classic hits on stage, he brought out his group St. Lunatics to join him as well. He also brought out J-Kwon and Chingy, two artists from St. Louis who have had successful music careers.
His show was one of the festival’s standout performances, and I have the footage for you to check out.
