I am Dr. Kimberly Johnson; “Doc KJ”.
I was born and raised in Chicago and lived on multiple sides of town. 
- Graduated from DuSable High School on the South Side
- Attended Northern Illinois University (NIU)
- Earned a B.A Corporate Communications, an M.S.in Ed in Community Agency, & an Ed.D in Counselor Education and Supervision.
- My dissertation title is LesbiFamilies: An Exploration of the Structural Dynamics of African American Same-Gender Loving Female Headed Households.
