Tyrese and Co-Star Christopher Ammanuel Show Up for Screening of their Film 1992 in Atlanta

I haven’t seen the movie yet but our correspondent Aishai Howse said the movie was good. She also said in the middle of the film, the screen went blank. A confused crowd was looking around, then the lights came on and Tyrese came out.

The surprised audience gave him a warm reception and the California native took the time to thank everyone who came out.

Judging by his press run and numerous interviews he has done of late, Tyrese seems very passionate about this film. From what I heard; he has to right to be proud.

The movie deals with a historical event that some people are still feeling the consequences of to this day; but also, social and family issues.

It should be noted that the late veteran actor Ray Liotta is also in this film. He died in 2022, this was the last film he was in before his death.

Before leaving, Tyrese joked that the audience should have kicked him out.

Following the film, Christopher Ammanuel, the actor who plays Tyrese participated in a brief question-and-answer session. The young actor talked about his career and some of the challenges he faced in playing his character.

The film 1992 is executive produced by Snoop Dogg and is in theatres now.
