6 Pack Diet

Laments terms:  Increase the amount of healthy lean protein you get daily.  If you are just walking or running for your exercise program you are missing out on some major results and add weight lifting to your weekly routine.

When you replace carbs with protein, it also forces your body to burn more body fat for fuel, therefore, the fewer carbs you consume, the more body fat you burn.  So to maximize the amount of abdominal fat you use for fuel, you’ll drop your carbohydrate intake very low on days you train abs, which should be 3-4 days a week.

“Good” carbs are not processed and contain a fair amount fiber (i.e. whole grain bread, oatmeal and whole-grain cereals, legumes, veggies, fruits, etc.) “Bad” carbs are refined or processed (i.e. white bread, white pasta, soda, sugary foods, including ice cream).

It is recommended that you select whole-grain carbs over sugary or processed carbs. However, you can incorporate small portions of refined carbs into your diet on occasion and still lose weight. The key will be small portions of it.
