Apple unveils two new iPhones, smartwatch

1:15 p.m.: Both devices will be thinner than the iPhone 5S. Landscape mode has been updated, and will also work on the Home screen.

1:12 p.m.: Looks like those screen sizes were correct. The iPhone 6 will have a 4.7-inch screen, while the Plus has a 5.5-inch screen. For perspective, both phones are slightly smaller than Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note respectively. Both phones will have a retina HD display.

1:09 p.m.: Cook unveils the next iPhone, or should we say iPhones. They’re officially called the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Cook calls it “the biggest advancement in iPhone.”
