Floyd never promised us an all out brawl similar to the “Thrilla in Manila.” He might have said it was going to be entertaining fight. But he never said he was going to do anything different, so why are we mad? Maybe because Manny Pacquiao didn’t live up to his end of the bargain the way we expected. I was told by so called fight experts before the fight how powerful and fast Manny was. I personally didn’t see any evidence of this before the fight, but yet I felt into the hype of believing otherwise. But in the ring he looked small and unskilled against Floyd. He was getting push around and throwing wild punches that rarely connected. I’m not sure how people thought he was going to win. Maybe people dislike Mayweather so much that their emotions clouded their reasoning. In the end, the more entertaining and interesting fight was the people who didn’t think Manny couldn’t beat Floyd against the people who just want to see Floyd lose.
