Unfortunately, ours is a society in which human beings took the God-given gift of free will and used it to create credit scores. Worse yet, we’ve somehow decided that these fickle, easily exploited ratings should have the power to determine whether someone deserves to do pretty basic, arguably necessary things like buy a house, rent an apartment, or take out loans to pay for the wildly overpriced college education they’ll need before they can even think about still not being able to afford a home in the first place.
