In the summer of 2025, Metro Boomin took this concept and engulfed it in the rollout “Futuristic Summa.” He had a listening party for the mixtape, which we attended. Upon entering, we noticed that the event was set for the future.
At the same time, he kept it classy; attendees were encouraged to wear Polo and/or True Religion to the party. Not only did the partygoers stick to the guidelines, but also celebrities like Young Dro, who was in attendance and is also featured on the album.
I haven’t listened to “Futuristic Summa” in its entirety, but from what I heard, it seems that this album is an ode to the artists and music that inspired him. That’s why it was no surprise to see Ice Billion Berg at the party performing his 2000s hit “My Partna’s Dem”
In addition to the performance by the artists, dancers were on the stage performing.
Superstar Atlanta artists Quavo, 21 Savage, and Lil Baby were in the building. New artist Breskii, who is featured on the biggest song on the album and possibly the biggest song of 2025, “Take Me Thru Dere,” was onstage dancing.
