I can understand someone who doesn’t follow sports and doesn’t know who Tyreek Hill is. I can understand if Tyreek Hill playing in a different city and people don’t know who he is. However, I refuse to believe that police officers in Miami don’t know who Tyreek Hill is. I definitely would believe the officers who were working in front of the stadium that he plays in to know who he is.
Despite his popularity, the NFL star was detained, handcuffed, and placed face down on the ground in front of the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. According to ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown, Tyreek Hill was pulled over by Miami for a moving violation. They also report that he got into a verbal altercation with the officers which led to him being put in handcuffs.

I’m not sure what happened or what was said, but I wonder if it was extreme to make officers act that way. His agent Drew Rosenhaus didn’t give any more details but said in an interview with ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown but said it was “disturbing.”
