His latest album Home Sweet Home, his second in the calendar year, is no exception. Pooh teams with Nottz who has laced everyone from Black Milk to Pusha T with his own brand of soulful Hip-Hop. The Mello Music Group album hit stores today and the pair has released it for full stream. Whereas Words Paint Pictures was heavier in subject matter, with Pooh addressing many of the societal ills that have dominated headlines the last few years, Home Sweet Some is a soothing salve for the heart and mind. Pooh’s Bandcamp page describes the new LP as “soul food, an audible feast, a form of mental science, and a collection of memories reminding you why you first loved Hip-Hop.” Says Big Pooh, “I’m most proud about how precise we kept it. It’s an album that moves, glides in and out of songs, from one to the next. The topics are precise, the music thumps, and the length provides instant replay value.”
