Unlike Andre 3000, he hasn’t stopped rapping, instead, he has added his solo guitar act to his live show. Accompanied by a live band, Scarface takes his classic songs and gives them a more soulful and sometimes bluesy interpretation.
I got a chance to watch Facemob do his thing in Miami earlier this year during the Jazz in the Garden Festival. More recently, the Houston native has overcome some health issues. This October he underwent open heart surgery. He went on Instagram to give an update and revealed that the surgery “could’ve went either way, yet I’m still alive.”
