Here’s the best casting news since the all-female Ghostbusters reboot squad was announced: Warner Brothers’ Ocean’s 8—the female spin-off to George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon-led Ocean’s Eleven—is close to finalizing deals with seven of its eight lead women, Deadline reports. They are Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna(!!!!!!!!!), Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, and Awkwafina (rapper/actress Nora Lum). Amazing, all of it, annnnd there’s still one spot left.
