Wildfire in Greece That Killed 74 People is Countries Most Deadly in Over A Decade

A deadly wildfire swept through a small resort town in Greece. The town of Mati, which is east of Athens Greece had fire infernos that caused many in the town to flee their homes. So far there have been a total of 74 people who died; but officials are expecting the number to rise. The wildfire is the most deadly in the country since August 2007, when a fire broke out in the southern Peloponnese peninsula.
