Things are not looking in D.C for the Washington Redskins organization. On July 3rd, the team announced that it will be changing its name and logo after receiving pressure from their corporate sponsors. On July 5th, the Washington Post reported that minority owners Fred Smith, Dwight Schar and Robert Rothman have been trying to sell their stake in the franchise. On the heels of that story, the team fired Director of pro personnel Alex Santos and assistant Richard Mann II, then longtime broadcaster Larry Michael announced he’s leaving the team after 16 years.
