Atlanta Fashion Week 2020 Postponed Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the escalating COVID-19 outbreak and the need for social distancing, it is RAGTRADE ATLANTA’s sole purpose to ensure the health and welfare of all ATLFW participants, as well as local, national, and international communities at large. For the past few months, the organization has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation with their partners and concluded that postponing ATLFW was the best decision for everyone.

“We completely understand how frustrating this is because we were looking forward to celebrating our first official fashion week with the community in a big way,” said Angela Watts, founder of Atlanta Fashion Week. “This is, however, an unprecedented issue which is not to be taken lightly, and we must continue to defer to the authorities for guidance.”

ATLFW new dates are set for August 19 – 22, 2021. In the interim, RAGTRADE ATLANTA will produce digital programming for ATLFW that will feature fashion designers, industry talks and more.

The organization will continue to monitor up-to-date information provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for guidance and will communicate updated plans for 2021 as soon as possible.
