In an on-camera conversation with Atlanta’s NBC affiliate 11Alive, Jerod said he’s been in contact with Gordon while Whitney Houston and Bobbi Brown’s daughter fights for her life at Emory University Hospital in Georgia.
“At the moment, he’s not,” said Jerod, when asked if Gordon was allowed access to his girlfriend’s hospital room.
“He’s taking legal action in that matter to get visits to see Krissy right now,” Jerod told the TV station. “I’m in contact with Nick. To be honest with you, Nick is feeling very emotional right now behind all of this. He’s pretty torn about about what’s going on.”
Jerod acts as a buffer between Gordon and the Brown family, he said, relaying Gordon’s wishes to relatives including Bobbi Kristina’s father Bobby Brown.
“We sit down and talk about things he wants my family to know and what we would love for Krissy to know, and that is that he loves her and is just waiting for her to wake up.”
In the days since Bobbi Kristina was discovered unresponsive in her bathtub, allegations of foul play have surfaced. The ongoing police matter was deemed a criminal investigation on Monday, with Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah Brown implicating Gordon days later.
“I believe Nick Gordon will be charged with this,” Leolah Brown previously said. “I hope that he will be charged with this, as well. Soon. I really do.”
