The film also stars veteran actor Richard Brooks who plays the dad Cordell “Dell” Montross Sr., Shelea Frazier, as the sister Nia Montross and Victoria Rowell as the mother, Elaine Montross. I was able to sit in on a Zoom Conference with the cast as they talked about their roles in the movie.
Victoria Rowell not only serves as an actress in the movie but also as the director. She talked about the importance of including and showcasing Black Wealth in the movie. It should be noted that Montross Blood Rules premiered on TV ONE, a station owned by a Black Woman. It comes under the umbrella of Hillionaire Productions which is owned by a Black Woman. The director is a Black Woman and it stars a Black Woman.
