Cardi’s infectious hit has garnered praise from a slew of artists, many of whom opened their platform to allow the rapper to perform her track. Drake brought her out during his OVO Fest in Toronto, Migos invited Cardi to their Veld Festival set and 21 Savage welcomed her to his stage at one of his recent shows. A Brooklyn elementary school teacher recently went viral for remixing “Bodak Yellow” to help her geography students retain information.
Cardi will headline Power 105.1’s annual Powerhouse 2017 concert, taking place at the Barclays Center in October. She will be joined by Migos, The Weeknd, French Montana, Lil Uzi Vert and more.
