If two sold-out shows at the Vic Theatre in Chicago wasn’t confirmation of native comedian Lil Rel ascension into stardom; it definitely was an indication. Not only was the event a live taping for a Comedy Central special; it was also sponsored by mega comedian Kevin Hart. When I saw the e-mail for the show and saw Kevin Hart name; I thought it was just for promotion. However, the superstar was in the building and gave a shout-out to the audience.
