More details emerged Friday in the case against a Full Sail University student accused of stabbing another student during a class this week in an attack that is being described a hate crime.According to an arrest report, TaVoris Murray told an Orange County deputy he was sitting in his Thursday morning statistics class when 29-year-old Xavier Nunez came up behind him and began striking him in the head.
Murray felt something hard cut his head, and tried to restrain Nunez.
After the attack, Murray asked Nunez why he injured him, and Nunez said because he “hated black people,” the report said.
Murray was not seriously injured.
