Donald Trump said the Indiana Governor Mike Pence has always been his “first choice” for his Vice President candidate. There was a press conference accompanied by a tweet from Trump that announced the selection early Saturday morning. “People who know me well, know I’m a pretty basic guy: I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican — in that order.” Pence said at the press conference.
