Freaknik in Atlanta canceled: ‘Community needs to focus on more serious issues’

It appears the Black Lives Matter movement has rained on Freaknik’s parade. It was less than 48 hours ago when promoter Danny Hefner started singing praises about the return of Freaknik, the infamous street party that attracts thousands.
