Kamala Harris has a chance to make History twice if she becomes Vice President

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has made the decision to bring Kamala Harris as his running mate for the 2020 election. Harris, a California U.S Senator tried her hand as being a canditate to be the president, but eventually dropped out. The 55-year-old will make history twice if Biden is elected, she will be the first woman and Black person as Vice President.

Biden went on Twitter and made a statement regarding his selection. [Kamala] is “a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants.” Biden added, “Back when Kamala was Attorney General, she worked closely with Beau. I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse.
