According to Hiphopdx, LL Cool J is suing concert promoter Guerilla Union, Inc for the use of the name Rock the Bells. The promotion company used the name from 2004 to 2013 for their Rock the Bells festival. The company tried to trademark the name in 2004 but was denied after LL said they were using the name without his permission. Although the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board denied all the companies trademark request; LL says the company is still trying to capitalize off the name. He is now suing the company for unspecified damages and wants the judge to grant an injunction from the promoters from trying to use the name again.
