Georgia based emcee has been putting in work since his first mixtape dropped in 2009. He has been a part of 8-man orchestra; as well sharing the stage with Masta JKilla and Curren$y. He has a new album called “Son of a Gun.” He took the time to talk to Black Truth News about the album, along with his new single “Knowhateyemean?”

What do you think hiphop is doing right in 2015? What do you think it’s doing wrong?
There’s been a lot of “progression” which was inevitable, but hip-hop has reached unspeakable levels of wackness in 2015. To someone like me – that’s a blessing. The worse it gets, the easier it is to separate the wack shit from the real shit. But the rise of the independent label and the live performance is what I’m interested in. That’s where hip-hop lives.
