According to the Associated Press, over 20 million Americans may lose their jobs this month. The figures are projected after it has been reported that one in ten U.S workers have already lost their jobs in just the last three weeks. Applications for unemployment have surged, since the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Last week, 6.6 million people filed for unemployment and 16.6 million have done so in the last three weeks.
