I attended the shoe expo in Chicago a couple of weeks ago and was surprised to see just how huge the sneaker industry has become. The expo took place inside a warehouse located in the art community of Pilsen. There were booths that covered the venue, filled with designer and limited edition sneakers. There were retro sports and music memorabilia; along with custom and unreleased gear.
