I was in attendance for Swank Publishing (Swank PR) website re-launch; which was held at Blue 1647 in Chicago. Swank PR was founded by Briahna Jenais Gatln who made the transition from Hip Hop journalism to Public Relations seven years ago. She joked that she knew it was time for a change when her “check from Source Magazine bounced.”
