UFC champ Jon Jones has been charged with battery following an incident in April at a New Mexico strip club. A waitress has accused Jones of slapping her in the genitals, pulling her on his lap, kissing her and putting her in a chokehold. Jones had a bench warrant, in which he paid a $300 dollar bond and served no jail time.
On Monday, Jones released a statement on Twitter stating he is no trouble. “I’m definitely not in any trouble my friend, don’t be so quick to believe everything you read on the Internet,” he said. “I know there’s a whole bunch of people hoping for my downfall but there’s even more who are proud of me and love seeing me do well. And screw staying inside, I love this community.. excited to keep climbing, haters going to be mad when I win in December.” To read more about this story click here.
