In one night Will Smith single-handedly produced the most memorable moment in award show history. During the 2022 Oscar ceremony, Will went on stage and smack the hell out of Chris Rock on stage. The incident occurred while Chris Rock was on stage telling jokes. (I mean he is a comedian). Chris made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith who was sitting next to Will and it was the start of the ending. Will calmly walked on stage and smacked Chris.
He walked back to his seat and repeatedly yelled to Chris to “leave my wife’s name out your fucking mouth.” The incident has been trending, but in case you missed it, you can watch the video below.
