Maybe more than ever, it is hard to stand out in the music and entertainment industry. Nowadays, having an online presence or going viral is often more important than making good music. However, sometimes you stumble upon a song or video that makes you say, “This is good.” This is what happened to me recently when I heard a song called “Max Payne” by Enphamus featuring Yung Nudy.
Enphamus [pronounced like infamous] hails from various cities across Georgia, most notably Atlanta. He became known back in 2021 when he went viral from a freestyle he did on Instagram Live with fellow rapper HotBoii.
Since then, he has dropped several songs that have garnered millions of views on YouTube and social media. He is currently signed to ONErpm and is expecting to drop an album this month. I got a chance to catch up with him for an interview via Zoom. Check it out below.
