Isiah Thomas claps back at Michael Jordan over 1985 NBA All-Star: “Stop Lying”

Dating back to their playing days and Isiah’s “Bad Boy” team being a hurdle to Jordan ascension to NBA dominance. The friction hasn’t really eased up. This time Isiah went on social media to refute a story Jordan told about the 1985 NBA All-Star game.

In a story posted by the Inquisitr, Michael Jordan stated his riff with Thomas actually started in that All-Star game. Jordan claims that Thomas “freeze” him out, resulting in him only scoring 7 points on 2-of-9 shooting from the field.

He had the least field goal attempts amongst the starters and five less than Thomas. “If you go back and look at the film, you can see that Isiah was actually doing that,” Jordan stated in the article. “Once it started getting around that he was freezing me out, that’s when the ill feelings started to grow between us.”

Well, Isiah wasn’t going to let that slide without saying anything. He went on Twitter and basically said that Jordan was lying!
