While MJ took a loss against the fugazzi Jordan company in Beijing, he recently picked up the ‘W’ in his lawsuit against a now defunct grocery store, ‘Dominick’s,’ which used his likeness in a print ad years ago.
The victory in court netted MJ $8.9 million, but it was never about the Benjamins according to him. Instead, he’ll be donating every penny of the $8.9M to charity.

“It was never about money, since I planned to give the money to charity, it was a matter of integrity and honesty”, he [Jordan] added.
“I’m pleased with today’s verdict”, Jordan said in a statement.
“I also hope the size of money will deter others from using someone’s identity and believing they will only pay a small penalty.”
