Offset has been locked up since April after the band was arrested at a show somewhere in Georgia not named Atlanta thereby making it a hazardous place for rap guys. While the other two members were released shortly after the initial arrest, Offset’s criminal post kept him hemmed up after he was denied bond on multiple attempts.
According to Mark Winne of WSBTV, Offset ended up getting five years probation, a $1000 fine, and “banishment from circuit,” meaning the “four counties comprising the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit.” In other words, they said “don’t bring your ass around here.” He also entered an Alford plea for starting a riot while locked up, and, by doing so he reportedly cleared the way for Quavo and Takeoff to plead guilty to misdemeanor marijuana charges.
