Minneapolis agrees to pay $27 Million to George Floyd Family to Settle Civil Lawsuit

The family of George Floyd has reached an agreement with the city of Minneapolis regarding their civil lawsuit. They will receive a $27 million dollars for the death of George Floyd in 2020. The dollar amount is the largest pretrial settlement ever for a civil rights claim.
