I have a female friend who played Chief Keef’s ‘Faneto“ song for me last year. I didn’t pay it any attention until I noticed she was playing it all day; back to back. Leor Galil of the Chicago Reader points out that the song has that type of appeal. People listen to it and go crazy. The underground hit is slowly creeping onto mainstream airwaves around the country. The song shows the genuine street appeal has an artist. Similar to the “I don’t like” song; Keef can make a hit for the street without little promotion. Below is the ‘Faneto’ movie that shows people going crazy to the song. Also the DJ Pharris remix that features Lil Herb, Lil Bibby, Lil Durk and King Louie.
