Prosperity Preachers Need to Know that the Gospel is to be Told Not Sold [Calvin’s Undisputed Truth]

They use religion to manipulate the biblically ignorant people they prey on. Their churches are full, it’s unfortunate because the folks in there trust their pastor to show them the right way.  Yet the preacher’s objective is to peddle the word of God for gain and wealth. Money that comes out of the pockets of the people who sit in the pews.

“Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake”.(Titus 1:11)

Jesus didn’t sell the gospel to his followers; he healed them and he gave the gospel freely.

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give” (Mathew 10:8)

God gave us his words of life by Jesus Christ and we don’t need money to obtain it. It’s a gift for all who believe in Jesus.

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price”. (Isaiah 55:1)

That’s why it’s hard for me to understand why churchgoers inside these mega-churches are making the preachers multi-millionaires from tax-free tithes and offerings. I see why there are churches all over Black communities because it’s a big business!  Being a pastor provides for some a lavish lifestyle.

“But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money” (Acts 8:20)

Jesus can’t be bribed or conned with money

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10)

I wanted to write this to inform those who will listen to what is going on in a lot of these churches today. This is also a warning to those preachers out here selling the gospel. Don’t you know that coveting money is a sin?  I mean don’t they know it’s A payday for sin and fleshly deeds for (Selling the Gospel)

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”. “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting”.  (Galatians 6:7-8)

See true servants of God do not hustle humanity out of money. If you are not preaching the gospel Jesus way, then you are not preaching his gospel at all.

“The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us”. (Micah 3:11)

My warning is backed up by the scriptures in the Bible. Which warns the people about these fake preachers. “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:13)

They have turned the place of Christ into a place of entertainment.

“And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves”, “And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves“.  (Mathew 21:12-13)

I saw a pastor on TV throw their money in the pulpit so he can walk on it! He told his congregation that he was anointing their money. It was ridiculous, he was saying “Money cometh to me now!”

I’m going to conclude this by saying that these prosperity preachers will have a rude awakening when Jesus comes back.

“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity(Mathew 7:23)
