Report: Spurs expect Tony Parker to have season-ending surgery on injured left leg

Parker will undergo an MRI on Thursday.

The injury took place in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s Game 2 win over Houston after he drove on Rockets’ guard Patrick Beverley and missed a floater. Parker fell to the floor and clutched his leg before being assisted by his teammates.

“It’s not good,” head coach Gregg Popovich said of Parker’s injury after the game.

Parker finished the game with 18 points and four assists.

San Antonio went on to win 121–96 and tie the series at 1–1.
