With hundreds of alleged assault cases now coming to light after a two-year investigation, there has been, according to some observers, surprisingly little direct action taken by and on behalf of these victimized children.
As the CPS investigation is ongoing, according to school officials, with changed policies being put in place, suspensions and promises of criminal action taken against alleged perpetrators, parents and school officials can and should take a more active role in monitoring school-time activities and listening to children who may be attempting to report acts of assault or inappropriate behavior towards them.
