Stephen Jackson’s Response to Shannon Sharpe’s Katt Williams Interview shows how Jealousy rears his Ugly Head

Outside of the numerous responses from the celebs he dissed and the ones he didn’t, the interview has been the talk of the internet.

Most of the praise and criticism has been directed towards Katt Williams. Amid the numerous opinions about the outspoken comedian, it seems that Shannon Sharpe has gotten some flak too.

One of those people has been Stephen Jackson. Also known as “Stak Five” is also a former athlete and a fellow internet host with his partner Matt Barnes. Their show “All the Smoke” is popular in its own right and showcases interviews with some of the most popular athletes and entertainers.

Jackson went on social media and shared his thoughts on the interview and they weren’t that flattering.

To me, these comments from Stephen Jackson sound a little bit hypocritical. He spoke of the reason Shannon didn’t “pull back” on Katt was because he didn’t have a personal relationship with his guests.

Well, it seems the same thing could be said about Stephen Jackson and the guests that have appeared on his show. Because one of those guests was none other than Shannon Sharpe.

Now if he has personal relationships with his guests, why he couldn’t personally call Shannon and share his grievances? I’m sure if Stephen doesn’t have Shannon’s number, he knows someone who does. Especially since the both of them occasionally worked together on the FS1 network with Skip Bayless.

It seems to me if he wanted to help out and share his opinion and help out a fellow brother, he could have done it behind the scenes.

Without saying any names, Sharpe addresses the criticism and calls it nothing more than hate and jealousy.

I have to say I agree with Shannon Sharpe. I’m personally not a fan of the bashing of people on social media. I’m from the era, where if you have something to say, you address it personally, face to face.

I would think that since Shannon and Stephen are both former athletes who are succeeding in a new space. I don’t think it’s cool to try to bring a brother down when he is up.

Well, you know how that line goes: if you got no haters, you ain’t poppin”
