2nd Annual 300 Men March In Baltimore Encourages Activism Instead Of Complaining

The first march last July, brought out more than 600 marchers, this year there was not as much participation, however, Bahar and those involved are determined to continue working to find a solution to the violence that is claiming far too many.

Our numbers are down but we still have work to do, we’re still calling men out. It’s just an annual event to recharge the spirit 300marchbmoreof men in the city,” said march organizer Munir Bahar.

City officials are praising the reduction in city murders, which are down to 104 in 2014, compared to 122 at the same time last year, but others feel there is more to be done for people to truly feel safe in their neighborhoods.
