“The Chicago Park District is so excited to come together with other essential Chicago youth-centered organizations to create an event featuring local musical artists and experiential learning for teens,” said Michelle Geddes, director of marketing for the Chicago Park District in statement. “It’s this type of collaboration that shows teens the wide variety of exciting opportunities that exist in our great city.”
Donda’s House and the Art Institute will be facilitating activities like break dancing, graffiti and jewelry making.
Chance will not be hitting the stage. The event, which will be from 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m, is free but registration is open at ticketmaster.com. Learn more about the fest here.
