Every year, over 350,000 attendees fill the iconic Crenshaw Boulevard (the Mecca of Black Culture and Business) at the Annual Taste of Soul festival in Los Angeles, California. A Black Cultural Experience fusion is the largest one-day FREE street festival on the West Coast that attracts nearly 350,000 attendees annually, who visit to experience all things soulful.
The festival is comprised of the finest local, ethnic, and international food and non-food vendors, electrifying live Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Dance, and local artists concert stages, social and healthcare resources, fun and socially-themed pavilions, renowned local and internationally featured visual artists, curated children’s themed events, and more!
She Ready Foundation believes that foster children deserve an equal opportunity for a normal childhood. Our founder, Tiffany Haddish, has made it her goal to empower, support, and encourage children living in the foster care system. She knows all too well what it’s like to move from home to home in the middle of the night with all her belongings packed in garbage bags and feel like the world has forgotten about her. We are the voice of foster children suffering in silence. Our philosophy is, ” Every child removed from their parents deserves a suitcase, a safe place to lay their head, and a platform to follow their dreams.”
