The Clipse Reunite for Performance in their “Second Home” Chicago

It seemed that the duo was heading for a long career of albums, shows, and music. Then in 2013, Malice changed his name to No Malice and left the group. It was understood that No Malice had a spiritual awakening and decided he didn’t want to make the music he was making. While speaking with CNN, in 2014, his brother Pusha T was asked did he “He picked Jesus over you,” to which he responded, “Yes, he did.”

The confirmation came for Pusha T after the lack of involvement from No Malice. “I wanna say somewhere from 25 to 30 shows that people who wanted us to do it,” he said. “Come to the city and perform the whole album in its entirety and he wasn’t interested at all. That’s when I knew it was real.”

The last time the Clipse recorded an album together was 2009 and it’s been extremely rare to see them do a performance together, until now. This summer the two got together for a show at the Hyde Park Fest in Chicago.

The two went through their hits and album songs while performing. During the set, Pusha affectionately told the crowd that Chicago was like a “second home” to the group. BTN was in the crowd and got footage of the performance. Even though they were the last act, it was dark and had very limited access, we still got videos. Check it out below
