Who Is Cyborg? Another Justice Leaguer Joins ‘Batman vs. Superman’

Currently referred to as “Batman vs. Superman,” the film, ostensibly a “Man of Steel” sequel, is set to feature a lot more superheroes than just Supes and the Caped Crusader. The latest super-powered character to be added to the mix: Victor Stone, aka Cyborg.

Variety reports that the role will be played by Ray Fisher, a stage actor best known for his portrayal of Muhammad Ali in the 2013 Off-Broadway play “Fetch Clay, Make Man.”

The addition of Victor Stone/Cyborg to the “Batman vs. Superman” ensemble shows that Warners is staffing up for the future cinematic adventures of the Justice League of America, the DC Comics equivalent of Marvel’s Avengers. Besides Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), and Cyborg, “Batman vs. Superman” will also feature Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman… and maybe even a few more JLA members yet to be revealed (Flash? Green Lantern? Aquaman?).
