Do you think your kid(s) and loved ones are grateful for the things you have done for them?

I’m not a parent but almost all of my peers have children. And even though I have raised kids at various points in my life, people tell me it’s different when I have my own.  There are some days that I want kids and some days I don’t. There are times I see the joy within people I know when they speak about their children.
