Almost 20 years later, Jeezy is renowned as one of the top Hip Hop artists of this era and one of the pioneers of a genre of Hip Hop called “Trap Music.” For most people who remembered when Thug Motivation dropped, the music still resonates with them. That was evident in Atlanta during Jeezy’s performance at the One Music Fest.
Even though Jeezy has transitioned to a husband, businessman, and veteran in the industry, the legacy of the “Snowman” still lives on. I got a chance to watch the performance from the very beginning to the end.
Standing backstage, I saw Jeezy pull up and walk past the waiting crowd on the stage.
From there, the “Snowman” went straight to work going through the medley of songs from his first couple of albums.
